	作者略歴 Brief record	映画、ヴィデオ、写真などの映像作品を幅広く手がけているアーティスト。中国の寺院、庭などの映像をCGで操作した、実景ともファンタジーともつかない映像を並列してみせた不思議な時間と空間の感覚を漂わせるヴィデオ・インスタレーションも試みている。このトリエンナーレでも、数多くのモニターやプロジェクターを用いた大規模なインスタレーションを発表する予定である。 Born in the People's Republic of China in 1971. Lives and works in Shanghai, China. Yang is a visual artist working with film, video and photography. He has also experimented with a video installation showing a number of CG images arranged in line. He videotaped Chinese temples and gardens and processed the images with CG. Those images looked like something between a real view and fantasy. The installation created a strange sense of time and space. At the "YOKOHAMA 2001," Yang will exhibit a large-scale installation using a lot of monitors and projectors.
