	作者略歴 Brief record	96年、イェール大学彫刻科修士課程修了、エデンの園が南米に存在したという伝説に想を得た、密林を模したインスタレーション作品の制作を95年頃より開始、現在も継続中。西欧古典文学、南米特有の文化、植民地問題などの題材を現代的な視点から考察する。 2000年、リヨン・ビエンナーレ、光州ビエンナーレなど、近年の多くの国際展に参加。 Born in Argentina in 1959. Lives and works in the United States. Vega completed his master's degree at the School of Architecture, Yale University. Inspired by a legend that the Garden of Eden was somewhere in South America, he has been making installations imitating a jungle since around 1995. He deals with Western classical literature, South American indigenous culture and colonization from a modern point of view. International exhibitions: Lyon Biennale and Gwangju Biennale in 2000.
