	作者略歴 Brief record	日常の様々な事物と映像を組み合わせ、観客が体験するタイプのインスタレーションを展開している。特に鏡は、ヴァルドセラの作品において重要なモチーフである。 トリエンナーレで発表するインスタレーションでは、床に様々なサイズの鏡が置かれ、床が壁のように見える。その空間の中で鏡に映された映像と、壁に映された映像の破片とが交錯する。部屋の隅にはトイレが設置され、観客はそれに腰掛けてヘッドフォンをかけることができる。ヘッドフォンからは若者たちが彼らの恋人、また将来の恋人について語っているトイレでの他愛のない会話が聞こえてくる。2001年ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレ参加。 Born in Spain in 1963. Lives and works in Spain. Valldosera makes installations that viewers experience rather than just look at. She combines video images and everyday stuff. She uses mirrors as her favorite motif. The installation she is going to exhibit at the "YOKOHAMA 2001" also uses mirrors. She will place mirrors in different sizes on the floor, which will make the floor look like a wall. The images projected on the wall will be mixed with their reflection on the mirrors. Viewers will be encouraged to sit on the toilet placed in the corner of the room, put on the headphones and listen to young people chattering in a bathroom about their present or future girlfriends/boyfriends. International exhibitions: Venice Biennale in 2001.
