球体、印刷物、といった一般的、普遍的なモチーフを通して、宇宙の法則、社会通念上の規則、といったルールに疑問を投げかける作家。作品の形態はインスタレーションとなることが多いが、サッカーチームにボールを２個使って試合をさせたり、レフェリーなしで同じユニフォームを着た２チームに「終わりのない」試合をさせたりと、ゲームの意味を問い直すイヴェントやビデオ作品も有名である。
国際展：95年ヴェニス・ビエンナーレ（イスラエル代表）、97年ドクメンタ、光州ビエンナーレに参加。
Born in Israel in 1965. Lives and works in Israel.
Employing universal motifs such as the sphere
and books, Tzaig makes art that casts doubt on
the validity of all sorts of rules, from the laws
of the universe to social conventions. His work
often takes the form of installations, but he
is also known for organizing events that examine
the nature of games, for example, a soccer game
with two balls or an "endless game" of soccer
between two teams wearing the same uniforms with
no referee.
