	作者略歴 Brief record	99年に京都造形芸術大学卒業、同年より手描きアニメーションと立体を組み合わせた作品を制作。「キリン　コンテンポラリー・アワード1999」（現キリンアート・アワード）にて最優秀賞受賞。2000年、キリンプラザ大阪の個展での大規模な作品「にっぽんの湯屋（男湯）」が話題となった。花札、銭湯、台所などをモチーフに、現代日本社会の抱える問題を明快にリズミカルに描く。現在、最も注目される若い作家の一人。 99年、「神戸アートビレッジ'99」、2000年にオーバーハウゼン国際短編映画祭、インターナショナル・コンペティション正式上映作品として出品、フランクフルト映画博物館で「日本芸術短編映像映画上映展」に出品。 Born in Japan in 1975. Lives and works in Japan. Tabaimo is one of the hottest young Japanese artists. She graduated from the Kyoto University of Art and Design in 1999. In the same year, she began making works combining hand-drawn animation and 3-D images. She won the Kirin Contemporary Award 1999 (now called the Kirin Art Award). In 2000, she was given a solo exhibition at the Kirin Plaza Osaka. The "Japanese Public Bath (Men's Bath)" displayed at the exhibition gained her great attention. Using things like the kitchen, public baths and Japanese playing cards as motifs, she depicts lucidly and rhythmically the problems of present-day Japanese society. She entered her work in the international competition at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen in 2000. International exhibitions: Japanese film festival at the Frankfurt Film Museum in 2000. Exhibitions in Japan: Kobe Art Village 99 in 1999.
