	作者略歴 Brief record	町中ですぐに買い求められるものや、その場で拾い集めたものを使い、作品とはすぐに気づかれないようなインスタレーション。あるいは、展示室の幅木を一部付け足すような、建築空間へのひそやかな介入など、観客が細心の注意を払うことで、日常とは違った視点を得るという、非常にユニークな作品を展開している。 94年「移住性」展（パリ市立近代美術館ARC）、96年マニフェスタ１，97年第２回光州ビエンナーレ、「Cities on the Move」展（ウィーンほか）に参加。 Born in the Republic of Korea in 1967. Lives and works in France. Koo's works use things you can find at shops in town or those he has found there. His works may be just a baseboard secretly added to the wall of the exhibition room. Spectators won't notice they are looking at an artwork, unless they look carefully. Spectators have to have a different viewpoint from their usual point of view. International exhibitions: " Migrateurs" at the Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, ARC in 1994, "Manifesta 1" in 1996, the 2nd Kwangju Biennale in 1997, "Cities on the Move" in Vienna and other cities.
