京都芸術短期大学ヴィジュアルデザインコース専攻科修了。91年の個展「この人ゴミをかきわけて、はやく来やがれ、王子さま。」（HBギャラリー、東京）以来、日常感覚とユーモアに満ちた言葉による文字だけの作品を制作。最近、主に海外で、「万引きするで。」と書かれた紙バッグを商店の客に配るプロジェクトなども行っている。
94年、水戸芸術館での「私のことは、彼にきいて。」、吉祥寺パルコでの「悪いけどこの恋は逃がさん」など個展多数の他、98年の南芦屋浜コミュニティ・アート計画、ロッテルダムでのアーティスト・イン・レジデンツ、99年、「秋葉原TV」、立川国際芸術祭'99などに参加
Born in Japan in 1963. Lives and works in Japan.
Ichihara completed the Visual Design Course at
the Kyoto College of Art. She creates visual art
using words. The words she uses are familiar and
humorous. Ichihara has had many solo exhibitions.
These include the "Push your way through this
crowd. Hurry up and come to me, Mr. Right!" at
the HB Gallery, Tokyo in 1991, the "Ask him about
me." at the Contemporary Art Gallery, Art Tower
Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture in 1994, and the "Sorry
... Buddy, but I won't lose my love this time."
at the Kichijoji Parco, Tokyo in 1994. She participated
in the Minami Ashiya-hama Community & Art Project
and the artist-in-residence program, Rotterdam
in 1998, the "Akihabara TV" and the International
Art Festival in Tachikawa '99 in 1999. In 1999,
she also produced a project to give away a paper
bag saying "I'll nick something." at shops. |
