	作者略歴 Brief record	ブダペスト工科大学で建築を学ぶ。45年にルーマニアのブカレストへ、翌46年にはイスラエルに移住。住む人の生活様式を尊重したフレキシブルな設計を基本とする組み立て式住宅ユニット｢動く箱｣を提案。その後｢移動建築｣のコンセプトを展開し、彼の代表作ともいえる｢空中都市｣プロジェクトを発表。現在パリで個展を開催中。 Born in Hungary in 1923. Lives and works in France. Friedman studied architecture at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He moved to Bucharest, Romania in 1945 and to Israel in 1946. Friedman designed "Movable Boxes," a prefabricated house unit designed to adapt to various lifestyles. He later developed this idea into the concept of "Mobile Architecture." Based on this concept, he made the "Spacial City" project, one of his masterpieces. His solo exhibition is now on in Paris.
