	作者略歴 Brief record	オーガンジーや針金などを使って、壁全体が一つのドゥローイングになるような作品を制作している。そこにはヨーロッパの現代的なファッションと、ニュージーランドの植生や先住民の文化といったモチーフがひとつのインスタレーションに統合され、アイデンティティーの問題や、文化の交流について独自の視点を提案している。93年プロスペクト'93（フランクフルター･クンストフェライン）、99年フリードリチアヌム美術館（カッセル、ドイツ）のグループ展等に参加、ニュージーランド、オーストラリアで数多くの個展を開催。 2001年ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレ　ニュージーランド館代表。 Born in New Zealand in 1956. Lives and works in New Zealand. Fraser is known for her work with fabric, such as organdy, and wire on a wall, which turns a whole wall into a drawing. She uses contemporary fashion in Europe, vegetation and culture indigenous to New Zealand as motifs. She integrates these motifs into one installation to represent cultural independence and cultural exchange. International exhibitions: Prospect 93 at the Frankfurter Kunstverein in 1993, group show at the Museum Fridericianum, Kassel, Germany in 1999, numerous solo exhibitions in New Zealand and Australia, Venice Biennale in 2001 representing New Zealand.
