何気ない手法で既存の概念に疑問を投げかける知的な作品を展開。イスタンブール・ビエンナーレでは、町の広場の中心にポスター掲示板を設置、ミュンスター彫刻プロジェクトでは、街と自分との関わりを考えるために空き地を購入するなど、国際展における枠にはまらない発表活動で注目される。また、絵画について再考するシリーズも続けており、パリ市立近代美術館などで展示をおこなっている。

Born in Germany in 1962. Lives and works in Germany
Eichhorn's highly intellectual art uses minimal
resources to cast doubt on conventional wisdom.
She has attracted attention for contributions
to international exhibitions that do not fit into
the usual framework. In the Istanbul Biennale,
for example, her work consisted of a billboard
set up in the middle of a public square. In the
Munster Sculpture Projects, she purchased a vacant,
stimulating thought about the relationship of
the city and the individual. She has also pursued
new approaches to painting, showing the results
at such venues as the Musee Modern de la Ville
Paris.
