Ohmaki Shinji

Born 1971 in Gifu. Lives and works in Tokyo.

Through installations using the entire exhibition space, Ohmaki converts that space into a non-daily world in attempt to awaken the viewers’ bodily sensations. He proposes to have people cooperate with him in working in the exhibition space and finds meaning in art and the society having a point of contact or art contributing to the society.
