Tiravanija grew up in a variety of different environments such as Ethiopia, Canada, and the U.S.A. and lives among New York, Berlin, and Bangkok. Being a born cosmopolitan, it goes without saying that his thoughts transcend nations and generations. He goes even beyond contemporary art and gives priority to communication with all kinds of people on a daily basis. He produces works and projects in which he can share the situation with the viewers.
