Peter Fischli & David Weiss (Switzerland)

Weiss: Born 1946 in Zurich. Lives and works in Zurich.

Fischli and Weiss began collaborative work in 1979. They used a variety of media such as sculpture, photographs, film, and installations to present everyday scenery and objects as themes. At the 2008 Yokohama Triennale they present their work Catch Me Should I Fall with an exquisite doll of a young boy poised on a diving platform above a pool in the gigantic hollow space of a shopping mall, and this stimulates the imagination of the visitors.
